The Monobuoy can perform a variety of engineering tasks related to monobuoy design, construction, maintenance and installation
We have inhouse CAD, finite element analysis and buoy and hose dynamic response software, and are able. We can perform any engineering design or calculation relating to monobuoys.
FPSO Turret Rotation System
The Monobuoy has designed, fabricated and installed a system to rotate an FPSO turret during reconnection such that all the risers perfectly align. The system was a retrofit, and the gearwheel was manufactured in 13 segments and then lowered down and fitted to a fabricated carrier plate. The work was performed in dry-dock in Singapore.
